After national team mainstay Stephan Schröck publicly announced on Twitter that he is staying with top flight club team Ceres-La Salle FC.
“Stephan Schröck’s loan agreement to Ceres-La Salle FC has been extended for six months,” the report by the club’s official stated.
“The Philippine international joined the club last January as part of a loan agreement with his parent club SpVgg Greuther Fürth.”
It also added that the Azkals midfielder “has been instrumental in Ceres’ 2016 campaign in the AFC Cup, UFL Cup, UFL League, and the RHB Singapore Cup.”
Schröck will still play for the reigning UFL champions from August 2016 up to January 2017.
Currently, Ceres is at second spot, just two points adrift from League-leading Global FC. UFL action resumes on Saturday, August 6, at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.
