The Green Archers have received more bad news after their 86-97 loss to the Blue Eagles. The Archers’ starting point guard, Thomas Torres, has been confirmed to have suffered a fractured ankle which will keep him sidelined for the rest of the UAAP Men’s Basketball Season.
During the loss to the Blue Eagles, Torres garnered 3 rebounds and a steal before hurting his ankle. He was averaging 4.5 points in 2 games for the season.
The Archers are now down to 13 in their active roster which will pose as a challenge in defending their UAAP Men’s Basketball crown. Sophomore guard, Kib Montalbo, will now stand in place of the injured Torres.
The Green Archers are to face the Bulldogs this Wednesday at the MOA Arena with the hopes of getting their first win of the season.
