The Shopinas.com Lady Clickers, formerly known as the Generika Lifesavers, ended with a bridesmaid finish against Petron last PSL conference.
Following issues with their former team’s management, Shopinas saw some of its core players move to new teams with likes of Maraño, Gumabao and Gohing doing so. Although the Ramil De Jesus-mentored squad lost key rotations, they have quickly rebuilt the team and added the likes of his current La Salle players in Kim Dy and Denden Tan.
In addition, Shopinas also got National University’s Rizza Mandapat and Fatima General, and Adamson’s Faye Guevara to fill out his team’s needs.
Despite having lesser firepower compared to their previous lineups, expect Shopinas to remain steady given the coaching prowess of De Jesus.
Shopinas will open its PSL stint against the Mane ‘N Tail Lady Stallions this coming March 26, 6:15 pm, at the Cuneta Astrodome.
