Petron Blaze Spikers kick off AVC inter-club campaign against North Korea

To begin its bid to capture the coveted title in their upcoming participation at the 16th AVC Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship, the Petron Blaze Spikers is set to face North Korea’s 4.25 Sports Club at the Ha Nam Competition Hall in Vietnam today at 5:00 pm.

We haven’t seen them yet, but we’re ready,” Petron head coach George Pascua said via the league’s official website.

Pascua also added that Petron will rely on its Brazilian import tandem of Erica Adachi and Rupia Inck to lead the team. Given the team’s unfamiliarity against the opposing team, the Brazilian duo’s experience in the international level will surely come in handy for the defending PSL Grand Prix champions.
