In a post-awarding ceremony conference, UAAP Season 77 Men’s Basketball Most Valuable Player Kiefer Ravena told the press “hindi ako magdadalawang isip to trade my MVP for a championship.”
Ravena, who announced on Twitter last Thursday that he would still suit-up for the Blue Eagles for his 5th year, stressed that the Blue Eagles will definitely be stronger next year with the end of residency for guards Jerie Pingoy and Hubert Cani. With regards to him joining the National Team program, Kiefer said “ayoko agad sabihin na mag gigilas ako, pero kapag yayayain ako I would be open to it; I won’t think twice about joining them.”
Currently, the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles are getting ready for the upcoming Philippine University Games to be held in Iloilo.
To close the press conference the Most Valuable Player told the press that “I am still taking my talents to Katipunan!”
