Lassiter misses 10 days of practice due to injury

San Miguel Beermen head coach Leo Austria said Wednesday night wing man Marcio Lassiter had missed the last 10 days of practice.

Lassiter had already sat out during San Miguel’s win over the Mahindra Enforcers last week due to groin injury.

His wife, Jerlyn, then gave birth Thursday last week and Lassiter had to attend to his family. Jerlyn Lassiter was only discharged from the hospital Wednesday.

“Si Marcio, he missed 10 days of practice talaga,” Austria said. “His wife kasi gave birth last week and nagkaroon ng kumplikasyon (sa panganganak) kaya busy siya sa family niya. Ang maganda, na-discharge na.”
