Jovelyn Gonzaga suffers right knee injury

The Cignal HD Spikers’ 2017 Chooks-to-Go Philippine Superliga Grand Prix campaign took a major blow after star opposite hitter Jovelyn Gonzaga sustained a right knee injury and had to be stretchered out of their match against the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.

The 26-year-old National Team standout landed awkwardly after trying to cover her own blocked hit with the HD Spikers down 13-21 in the second set.

No official diagnosis has come out of the Cignal HD camp. Gonzaga will be rushed to the nearest medical facility from the FilOil Flying V Centre.
