In a final match before their titanic clash with the UP Lady Jins, the Lady Jins from Taft made short work of the UE Lady Jins in a quick 6-1 series win.
The injury bug hit the UE ladies once more as Dymyr Lobaton could not continue in the 1st round of her match after hurting her hamstring midway the 1st round. Karen Cells scored the only win for the UE-side with an 8-1 win over Leigh Nuguid. Philippine team member Cleio Banez dominated Jane Quimora with an 8-1 win. Kristine Mae Cordova, still nursing an injury, withdrew her match against Apriel Solimen. Super rookie Camille Bonje rallied back after being down 4-0 to beat Darlene Arpon 6-5 in the lightweight match to still keep her perfect 5-0 record. With the win, DLSU won the series. The match lead would extend to 6-1 with wins by Yuchingtat and Amon.
