Danny Kingad to fight for World Flyweight crown in Manila

ONE Championships’ 11th event in the Philippines will feature a double main event

Co-main eventing Eduard Folayang’s second title defense during ONE Championship: Legends of the World will be his brother-at-arms and Team Lakay teammate Danny Kingad. But it isn’t just any bout, as the 21-year-old will challenge Adriano Moraes for the ONE Flyweight World Championship.

Kingad, who owns an immaculate 6-0 record, is 3-0 in the Asian promotion. However, he has only fought once this yea,r as his bout with Hexigetu last July 29th was called off. Even the rescheduled date of August 18 had to be scrapped due to an injury incurred by the Chinese fighter.

Standing in his way to glory is one of the hottest fighters in ONE Championship.

Two-time world champion Moraes, who is 16-2 in his career, handed Kairat Akhmetov his first loss to unify ONE Championship’s flyweight crown last August 5.

Legends of the World takes place on November 10, Friday, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
