From the start of the match you could tell that Adamson wanted to win this match badly. Their small 13 – 8 lead quickly ballooned into an 18 – 10 advantage. They were able to take the 1st set easily, 21 – 13. FEU was able to keep it close at the start of the 2nd, able to tie the set at 7 all. The normally loud Simborio was unusually quiet as her team was once again on the opposite end of another run by the powerful Adamson duo that was able to aextend their lead to 16 – 12. There was nothing the pair from FEU could do as Adamson took the 2nd set, 21 – 15.
With this win, Adamson was able to keep their season alive, and are slated to go against twice-to-beat DLSU for the chance to play UST in the finals.
