8:34 Day 4: NU spikers demolish struggling La Salle

National University’s Edwin Tolentino and Joseph Tipay once again dominated the sandcourt, trampling the still winless La Salle Green Spikers in two sets, 21-19 and 21-15.

La Salle’s Jopet Movido and Levin Dimayuga would put up a fierce challenge in the first set, but were unable to control their outs and errors, eventually conceding the set to the burly spikers from NU. The La Sallians would be denied the chance to bounce back in the second set, as a fired-up NU quickly sailed to a 21-10 victory, putting up more firepower than La Salle could handle.

Standings:
NU: 5 – 1
DLSU: 0 – 5

Aggregate score: NU-42, DLSU- 34

Total match time: 31 mins.
