Barangay Ginebra Kings inks deal with new outfitter World Balance

The league’s most popular ball club in the PBA is set to have a major revamp. Not when it comes to personnel but to its official outfitter entering a new season.

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel has inked a partnership with popular-active lifestyle brand World Balance for the duration of the 41st season of the PBA which is slated to start this October.

The change with its official outfitter would symbolically taken as a fresh start for the popular franchise after naming the legendary Tim Cone as its new head coach in the preseason.

“We are happy to announce partnership with World Balance as our official partner for the upcoming PBA season,” said SMC Sports Director and Ginebra team governor Alfrancis Chua.

“We are very appreciative to World Balance for being our official outfitter for their all out support to the Ginebra team,” he added.

The management of World Balance for its part, likens its brand to the beloved PBA franchise which banks on its “Never Say Die” attitude.

“For a brand that’s succeeded against the influx of competitors and cheap knock-offs for so long, this partnership with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s Never Say Die attitude,” said Bamaby Chong, General Manager of World Balance International Inc.

“We also share the long and glorious history when it comes to generations of fans who love and remain loyal to both the team and the brand. The new gears the team will be wearing will reflect these shared values. Aside from that, the designs are sleeker, edgier, ultra light and will surely make a great impression to the whole Ginebra community,” he added.
