Barako’s Yeo dealt to GlobalPort for future pick

After playing a conference for Barako Bull, veteran backcourt player Joseph Yeo is once again on the move.

The Energy guard, who averaged 13.5 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 5.3 APG for 12 games, is set to be shipped to the GlobalPort Batang Pier, multiple reports state Friday.

In return, the Energy will receive the Batang Pier’s first rounder in the 2016 PBA Draft.

The deal creates a logjam at the guard spot for GlobalPort, which still have guards like Rookie of the Year front-runner Stanley Pringle, Terrence Romeo, and Ronjay Buenafe.

Barako also lost a proven shot-creator, and the team’s only regular shooting guard in the rotation after the team dealt Carlo Lastimosa a day before to the Blackwater Elite for Brian Heruela.
