Ateneo MVT squeaks past Warriors for second win

After trading dominant performances in the first two sets, Ateneo inches past the UE Warriors, 16-21, 21-12, 15-13.

UE’s lengthier and stronger Edward Composano would impose his will in the first set, allowing UE to take the early lead while a balanced attack from Ysay Marasigan and Jenel Apelar forced the match into a deciding third set.

UE’s Carlo Almario would step at the beginning of the third set, giving UE a brief 12-10 lead but Ateneo would answer back, snatching the set and the game from the Warriors.
