Amon squeezes out victory for DLSU lady jins to edge out FEU

The De La Salle University lady jins opened their season with a narrow 4-3 victory over the Far Eastern University.

Ronielette Balancio and Geena Mae Gadit would open the day with victories in the finweight and flyweight divisions for FEU. The next three matches however would go to the squad from Taft, with Farrah Regis, Apriel Solimen, and Camille Bonje taking the bantmanweight, featherweight, and lightweight matches to overtake FEU. A victory in the welterweight match by Clouie Bolinas over Gabrielle Yuchingtat would level the playing field. Paola Amon, however, would manage to take home the victory for La Salle, edging out Fila Saberon in the middleweight match, the deciding encounter between the two schools.
